While the kids are away, the parents will play.

Darren took today off and we rode in to DC to take a Segway tour of the city.  It was so much fun and Darren's already said, he'd love to do it again.  Here are some pics of us exploring the city!

Happy First Day of School

Ian is in 6th grade this year and Evan is in 3rd grade.  Ian was most excited to get a locker and Evan was very excited that his new friend was in his class and that he got the new teacher.

August Rocket Shoot

We finally got back out there with our rockets and had some fun.  Although we had three of our rockets break while we were doing it.  Oh well, nothing that can't be fixed or in some cases replaced!!

Great Falls Hike

Some days you just need a friend to call you up and say "Hey let's go do this!"  And that's what happened this morning.  My friend Molly called up and said let's go hike at Great Falls, so we did!
