Here are the layouts that I did for the IDOS DT challenge on October 25th.

Bad Blogger

I think that my mind has left the building or something I just keep forgetting about blogging. It isn't like I have anything better to do or maybe that is why I haven't been blogging. Man it is almost like the whole which came first the chicken or the egg. Do I not blog because I don't have anything to say or do I not have anything to say because I am not blogging about it?

Like the tootsie roll commercial -- the world may never know.

Can you tell how much NyQuil I have in my body just by reading this. Yep, we are all sick again. I am SO over colds. Maybe moving to San Antonio will be a good thing for us.

Well tomorrow is Halloween so hopefully I will have some good pictures to share with you.

Been up to nothing...

and up to no good, I at least am not sick any more.

I have been playing on the computer for the last couple of days because I could and because it didn't require A) heavy lifting B) me to jiggle C) didn't make me puke.

I haven't blogged though lately because beside what has been coming up I really haven't done anything exciting. Isn't it sad when the most exciting thing you can say is that you aren't sick anymore.

Well at least I got 3 layouts done for tomorrow's Design Team Challenge over at IDOS. And that puts me at 114 12 x 12 layouts for the year. My goal was 104 (or 2 a week) so I have accomplished that goal! And that is just counting 12 x 12 layouts not the rest of the stuff that I have done that I don't even know where to being to categorize, maybe that will be next year. :)

I did get a couple of pictures from the marathon crop this weekend. Here is a heads up though, if you know that you are going to be scrapping overnight -- take pictures ahead of time so you are fresh and beautiful, not the next morning when your eyes can barely stay open.

I snuck out and took a shower but Dawn didn't get a chance too so she was upset that I was looking "beautiful" -- YEAH RIGHT!!!





By the way -- is it weird that my eyes hurt just looking at these pictures!!

An Even Dozen

That is what I got done at the marathon crop this weekend. Pretty proud of myself. I was crowned Queen of the Crop by winning the game where you pull out stuff from in your bag, I had everything on the list (told you I pack too much). And I also won the in-store Scavenger Hunt. Got two bruised knees to prove how competative I am too!!

It was awesome meeting Dawn there and we definately hit it off. I so hope that we will be able to do it again soon!!

I love this new blog that I found called the Multi-Photo Scrapbook Layout Gallery. I check it out every morning cause I love the layouts that she posts and LOOKIE!!! I am on there today!! How is that for the kick off of an AWESOME SCRAPBOOKING WEEKEND!!!

So I am going to a crop this weekend...

and I am trying to gather all the stuff I will need aka pictures (I mean I am going to be in a STORE, I really should only have to bring pictures, but hubby would kill me if I did that!!). So I am trying to print out pictures to take with me and I am having the heck of a time feeling efficient about it. I love my printer but MAN is it slow!! And I really can't do anything else until it finishes up!!

So I decided to write in my blog. Hubby here is a link to the cutter I would love to see wrapped up under the tree this year!!

What a boring weekend.

Except for going to meet up with the Ames Area Croppers on Friday night I really did nothing all weekend.

I got my hair cut and colored on Saturday morning and spent way too much $$$ on it!

I went to the library ALL BY MYSELF and actually got to walk around in there and look at adult things. Got some books and a couple of exercise videos.

And then I sat at home and didn't do anything. It was wonderful. :)

So are you blogging with the new blogger yet? I just upgraded to the new beta one that they have out and I like the drop and drag ability to change things.

I love these stamps they are the perfect size and font -- very versatile.

This layout actually has sound too -- wish you could hear I. sing the Tonka Song.

Day 3 of October

Well so far, October has been hot and humid -- completely the opposite of September. I spent all day putting the boys clothes in their new dresser and I packed away all the shorts for the year and pulled out sweatshirts and pants and long sleeved stuff. I guess it is all my fault. I should have waited.

As for how the diet has been going Monday and today were much better than Sunday otherwise known as the day I ate nothing unless it was fried or chocolate. Oh well, just need to get off my butt and start an exercise program that I can stick with. Sure wish sitting burned more calories.

So here it goes, I am going to do my dog because well I think everyone probably knows my weird things. :)

Beaker's 5 weird things.

1. She is on the most militant schedule. When Daddy comes home it is time to eat, it doesn't matter if it is 8am, she just finished breakfast and Daddy came home because he forgot his cell phone and had only left the house minutes before. If he walks through the door it is time for dinner.

2. She will not pee anywhere but green grass. Picture Texas in August, not much green grass.

3. While walking she can and must pee every 10 feet. Doesn't matter if she peed for 5 straight minutes at the neighbors house before leaving the block, I think she has an extra bladder. Oh and she also loves to do her business when there is an audience -- no stage fright here.

4. She has this funny kink in her tail from when she was a pup in the litter and it must have been broken or something.

5. She is a licker. You can tell her to stop and she will just do it harder because she is apologizing for licking you in the first place.

I am going to throw in one more....
6. I swear she is going thru menopause. She is 11 1/2 years old now and at night in her kennel I swear she is having hot flashes cause she just starts panting. It is 67 degrees in the house and she is acting like we are on the sun.

Ok so they may not be the weirdest pet stories but they are Beaker's. I love her even if she is weird.

Can you believe it is already October 1st? Man summer ended here quickly. The leaves are all changing colors really fast and falling. I am going to have to hurry if I want to catch some pictures of the leaves.

So last month I said I was going to lose 10 pounds and guess what I weighed myself today and I am EXACTLY the same as I was on September 1st. So we can all see how well that worked. I really need to get kicked in the butt and start exercising and eating right. It isn't healthy for me to stay this weight and I don't want to be a fat mama.

Good news -- I was asked to be the Guest Design Team member at Mandarin Pixie stamps this month. So you can see my cool work in their gallery and on their blog. I was really honored to be asked, it was like getting the corner piece of wedding cake with all the gooey frosting. So go there and check me out!! She is working on getting some new stamp designs in too. Can't wait to see them.
