With Daddy the Den Leader giving them out! Ian was awarded 3 more silver arrow points and his World Conservation Patch and the Outdoor Activity Award.
I added to the kit a Making Memories label holder and an old bottle cap and a few buttons from my stash. I also used a bunch of punches like the Stampin Up scalloped oval and oval punches, Stampin Up hearts and a little folksy heart punch. I also added some old rick rack from my stash too.
I added some Basic Grey letter stickers and a Making Memories metal school embellishment along with some felt stars and other random stuff from my stash. I used the Stampin Up scallop square and Creative Memories square punches for the little green squares.
I spritzed the wood from the kit with some Smooch Spritz and added to the kit lots of little random embellishments including a Sassafrass journaling card and October Afternoon letter stickers.
At one point they were picking these "flowers" (aka weeds) and they were pulling them up from the roots and Evan was walking around with like an entire bush which for some reason I just found funny! He kept telling me we could take it home and plant it!
Nah, I think we will let the pretty flowering weeds stay here, Mommy has enough weeds of her own at home. Although mine aren't quite as pretty and have lots of thistly thorns on them.
Ian with his big blue eyes are so sensitive to light so we turned around so the sun was to his back and then I got some better pictures without him squinting so much.
Ian with his friend Brianne, this is a good picture of the two of them!
The whole gang!!
More of just Ian.
And then Elise handed her camera to Brianne and she shot this one of the two of us.
You should always stop and smell the flowers.
His little friend Kimberlee came along for some picture taking fun.
Let's try in the shade.
It is cool outside and he kept playing with is ears because they were cold.
That's the look I am used to.
I like this one, wish his face was just a tad bit better in focus.
Evan was allowed to pick the buttercups or whatever those little yellow flowers were.
There is a good smile.

I love that little boy!
I used the March 14th Sketch at the Studio Calico blog this week to create this layout using the new March 2010 kit and I won a gift certificate!! YAY!! CHECK IT OUT HERE!!

And this is what happens at the end of the busy day!! I think I did pretty good, I didn't take pictures of any animals except my own at the zoo for once because really how many pictures do I need of an elephant?I'm trying to finish up some of last week's memory planning while I wait to leave to pick Evan up from his Robotics Executive mee...
