Well the final 3 has become the final 2. I wish I would have sent my final layout in earlier now but I didn't want it out there and then have to wait and wait and wait. You'll know how much I love waiting.

But check out the final 2 entries. Her's is really good and I don't envy those guys for having to decide. Our challenge was to create a layout using any theme or products but we had to include ribbon, rub-ons, and 2 patterned papers.

Family Pictures (a weighty problem)

You know my little E. is almost 14 months old now and we have not since he has been born had a family picture. Poor little man, I am so bad about making sure I do the same stuff with him that I did with I. I still haven't completed his first year scrapbook album.

Am I a horrible mom and he is going to grow up resenting me?

I just hate having my picture taken. For the first couple of month of E.'s life daddy wasn't home so I used that as an excuse not to get a family picture taken. And then it was my weight, you know the old as soon as I lose a couple of pounds we'll go get our picture taken.

My weight really is taking me out of my own life. I keep postponing things because I want to look better. I need to lose a few pounds so that I can keep up with my little buggers. But I just can't or maybe it is won't. I don't know what is keeping me at this weight and I really wish I could change it.

Scrapbooking

I got another layout done yesterday after getting home from our trip to visit the grandparents.

These are the last photos of our malibu. We washed it up and then traded it in for the Denali.



I love the little car eyelets that I bought god only knows how long ago. I always thought they were cute just never had any use for them. Sadly they weren't even an I saw them on the shelf at my LSS and picked them up and bought them. I ordered them from some lady in Canada. :)

Cold Cold and more Cold

Has it really been since Tuesday since I have blogged? Wow where does time go? Just not enough hours some weeks to get everything done.

We are in some sort of cold spell here so for all of you who were waiting for hell to freeze over to do something -- I think it has.

I was going to try to enter this quickutz contest at my LSS but I was a day late but here it is. I used my Quickutz plane, photo corner, Studio and Lucy fonts.



The little tag tells the story behind why he got his picture taken in the little airplane because I really am not into the props in their pictures. Reader's Digest version.... He was waiting for E. to get his picture taken and wanted to sit in the airplane but it was way in the back of the store. So he pulled it all the way to the front of the store so he could play with it. So I let him get his picture taken in it so I could scrapbook it.

In a rut...

I just seem to have lost my mojo this weekend. Nothing I seem to do is really making me shout from the rooftops "Hey look at this". I know everyone goes through those periods but I really wanted to scrap this weekend and I have nothing to show for it except an almost finished word scramble.

What were you doing 10 years ago? Lets see that would be 1996, I would have just moved to Washington DC area for the first time. We would be still recovering from the blizzard of 96. Still 'newlywed' since we haven't celebrated our first anniversary. Trying to find a job in the field of Chemistry without a master's degree in DC (UGH - never did have any luck with that). And trying to find housing closer to the Pentagon where Dhubby was working.

I made the cut!!

I made the final 3 in the design team search on I Dream of Scrapping!!! I am so excited, now I have to do another layout and it isn't due until the 25th. Why couldn't it be due tomorrow or even Sunday, the waiting is the worst part!

I was pretty bored this morning so I went to www.go-quiz.com to see what I could find to perk me up a bit and I found this "quiz" if you call it a quiz -- you just had to put in your name.

My layouts...

I had applied to two different DT contest on the same day and I found out on Friday that I didn't make the one. The person they did pick had awesome layouts. Even I would have picked her!!! :) I was sad but it was only par for my course on Friday.

What happened Friday you may ask from my last post? Let's just say my day started at 3 AM and it never went uphill. I was just tired all day and having to deal with cranky children when you are tired doesn't help matters. It is over and that is all that matters. My fingernail will grow back and at least it is on my left hand.

But these are the layouts that I had sent in for my application. Let me know what you think cause I know you all will lie to me and tell me that they are wonderful and you know what... I need that sometimes! :)
