I have a friend who started up her own sketch site called Sketch Inspiration Ning Network. I got some time today to scrap since birthday, Christmas, and school stuff was all done. I hadn't been able to scrap since before Thanksgiving so it felt good. Here is what I got done. The first 4 are from the above mentioned sketch site. Sketch #100 Sketch #101 Sketch #102Sketch #103 Just a simple layout of Evan licking the beater after making cookies with Daddy. I used some papers from a Studio Calico kit but I can't remember which one. And one last one of Evan. He is being swung by Daddy and I am laying underneath him taking his picture. I used up a bunch of Cosmo Cricket papers and journaling cards on it.
The day after Christmas we went to one of our favorite restaurants and pigged out on fries and BBQ wings. I always love how the boys look after eating them!!
Well Evan finally turned 5. He was all excited to be the same age as all his friends. He got a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. It was yummy. Earlier that morning he was excited to open the last day of the advent calendar. And then to check out his birthday presents. Don't ask.... he is measuring his gifts to see how much bigger he is. ??? I don't know maybe it makes more sense if you are 5 years old. GI Joe big boy bike! Lego Toy Story Army Men! The BEST BOOK EVER!! Worlds biggest Nerf gun for our little guy!
Ian's holiday program was tonight at the local high school. All the second graders dressed up in their best holiday hat to sing and dance for all us families!
We started out the night with a picture of the boys in their Santa hats next to the tree. Then our friends the Baker's came over and Ian had his annual picture with their little girl who is in the same grade! They are so cute together aren't they? Seriously cute aren't they!!?? And during the performance, Ian was on the top row again and he told me afterwards he hates being up there in the bright lights. He said it was hot and he couldn't see anything. So that explains the weird faces he made the whole time! Ian was a Hanukkah dancer this year! He was so excited because he wanted to be one every year so far and he loved it because you get to do this fun dance he said!! More random funny face pictures of my little singer!! Big finish!!
