Santa Visits the Scouts
The boys had their second pack meeting on the 17th and as a special surprise Santa came to visit at the end. Our Santa was wonderful and brought all the good little Scouts pinewood derby cars to work on over the Christmas break to get ready for January's pinewood derby!! Here are some pictures from the pack meeting. Ian earned his mathmatics and music belt loops this month!
Even the little brothers and sisters of the Scouts got to visit with Santa and got a special treat! Evan was so excited because he had missed out on getting to go to the mall and visit Santa this year!

Honors Chorus Christmas Performance
Ian is part of the Honors Chorus at school and they had a Christmas concert. It wasn't the best room for taking pictures but I got a couple of my cute little man. Look at him with his little bow tie!! The concert was on Monday December 13th at the Super Gym on post.

Singing and Lighting
Ian is part of the Honors Chorus this year at school. They were asked to sing at the Christmas tree lighting on Dec 6th and while it was freezing outside they did a great job and sounded wonderful. Ian is so proud to be part of the choir, he loves music!!

Tree Decorating
Just because we don't have our ornaments here in Korea hasn't stopped us from decorating a tree. The cub scouts have a tree in the Christmas Tree Lane this year and they all made ornaments and helped to decorate the tree. They are a good group of boys and I think they had fun!

Advent Calendars
This year we found two of the Lego Advent calendars and in the past the kids have been really good about sharing them but since there were two we couldn't not buy them both. And the kids are so excited every morning to get to open something up. And I love Lego for making them!! Here are pictures from Dec 1st and the first day of getting to open the Advent calendars!
This year so far we haven't put the big tree either. We might after we move but until then the boys each have a little tree of their own. Evan really wanted a white one (and so did I kind of) so I was excited to find one here for him! And the star on Ian's tree is the one that I made for the Cub Scout tree at Christmas Tree Lane. I let his tree wear it until the ceremony! :)

Bad Photo Mommy
I have this little camera that I always keep in my purse so if we happen to do something and I want to take pictures I can. Well I have been taking pictures with it but I haven't been as good at taking it out and putting those pictures on the computer. So from Oct to Dec here are some things that have happened.
All Saints Day Mass: The boys dressed up like Saints to participate in Mass. Evan was St Michael and Ian was Saint Mark.
Another Halloween picture: We went trick or treating in family housing.
Evan had his first field trip. The kindergarten class went to the botanical gardens.
We were offered family housing and we took a tour of what will be our new house as of Dec 20th. The kids love it.
And lastly, on the camera... we made an advent wreath with the other families from church.

And both boys had Thanksgiving with their classes! Evan's class celebrated with an ABC feast to celebrate that they all learned all 26 letters of the alphabet with foods representing each of the ABCs.
See the Zebra Cakes for Z!!
And Ian's class had all the parents in and the parents were served by the kids and then after the meal all the kids read a report about what they were Thankful for!
We also had our first Cub Scout Pack Meeting. Ian earned a couple of new belt loops and got to be the flag bearer.
And lastly, on the camera... we made an advent wreath with the other families from church.
Now I think I am all caught up again and hopefully I can stay that way!! :)
