I met with my friend from I Dream of Scrapping this week at the park and guess who took these pictures. Yep IAN!! Not too shabby if I do say so myself, although I did tell him not to take pictures of the sun and you can see how well he listened.

I don't know why but it just struck me today listening to it in the car by myself (yes I was alone in the car for the first time in ages listening to what I wanted to listen to).

I haven't posted any layouts in awhile it feels.

Both of these layout are for Ian's preschool book. I am actually doing it 8.5x11 and let me tell you I LOVE that I can scan the layout and not have to stitch it together. That is wonderful!!!

Both of these layouts also use the Special Design Team Kit from ScrapAddict.com that I helped create. It is called Bonanza.

I totally saw everyone else with their slide thingys going up and down and couldn't get mine to do it until today I finally found a button that says size.

Like DUH? Like I said I am completely and utterly hopeless when it comes to this blog decorating thing. I guess I should have just been happy I had gotten the slide thing up and it was working!! LOL!!

Someone tell the Army to stick to one plan please!!

Well now we are back to square one. You know after we cancelled our house hunting trip to San Antonio and actually found a nice house in a great school district to rent in Alaska, the Army decides that we are going to go to San Antonio after all.

I am so mad/happy/pissed/angry all of the above. I guess I just don't know why 4 guys in one office can't talk to each other before they turn my family's life upside down not once but twice in 2 weeks. Now hubby will probably have to fly down there in April by himself to look at houses. I think that is what makes me the angriest, we could be in San Antonio right now looking at houses together!!

Oklahoma City

I had an awesome time this weekend going down to Oklahoma City to meet one of my best friends that I have met online. It was our first time meeting and it was so weird cause it was like we always do it. It didn't feel awkward or nervous I was just so excited to actaully be standing right next to her and talking!

Thanks to Debbie and her so cute family for having us!! Darren has already said things like next time we are in the area we will have to.... So that means he had a good time and wants to do it again!!!

Spring Break

Well driving down to Texas to look for a new house had to get put on hold. Kind of sad but we are waiting for the results of a big wig meeting in Washington DC to find out where we will be moving to in May. Sounds like Texas may be a wash because they don't have funding for the project hubby was supposed to work on but instead they have offered him a position in Alaska. How is that for different?

The thing is as much as I would have loved to go back to Texas the thought of living in Alaska is kind of exciting. It is considered an overseas tour which hubby needs and there is so much cool stuff to see up there. I have always wanted to see Alaska, the glaciers, whales, and that kind of thing. Plus Texas will always be there when we return.

So just bidding my time until they come out of the meeting and let us know what is going on. Man I hate waiting.

So I will post another layout I have done.

And yes that is a different picture from my New Years Resolutions layout. I really do need to get some more pictures of myself.

Partial Lunar Eclipse

My friend got a new camera too and they were out taking pictures of the eclipse and when I let the dog outside I noticed the clouds had parted long enough to catch a glimpse.

Not the best picture of the moon and to get one I should have gotten my tripod out instead of taking it in my shivering cold hands but not bad for an amature!!
