I forgot to post this one the other day!

The title font is Diesel and I downloaded it off the internet here
http://www.misprintedtype.com/v3/fonts.php
He has some really cool looking grungy fonts.
I used a Stencil
Well I used up some more supplies on this layout and I used a set of stamps that a friend got me that I had never used before. They were those clingy kind that you stick onto the clear block. I wasn't really sure if I would like them but she has me hooked. THANKS A LOT BTW NOW I WANT MORE!!! You know who you are!! :)

This is a layout from Memorial Day 2004 and we went with some friends to the Leesburg Animal Park. We had a great time but the best part for me was watching I. interact with this goat who wouldn't let him do what he loves most, climb and slide.
GOATS = KIDS :)

Why Why Why
My dad gets some of the funniest jokes and he always forwards them to me. This is one that he sent me today and I just wanted to share it because I was kind of thinking along the same lines today {you know stuff that I don't understand, well this joke is better than what I was going to write}.
So here you go, enjoy!
Why, Why, Why
Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are getting weak?
Why do banks charge a fee on "insufficient funds" when they know there is not enough?
Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?
Why doesn't glue stick to the bottle?
Why do they use sterilized needles for death by lethal injection?
Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?
Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, but ducks when you throw a revolver at him?
Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
Whose idea was it to put an "S" in the word "lisp"?
If people evolved from apes, why are there still apes?
Why is it that no matter what color bubble bath you use the bubbles are always white?
Is there ever a day that mattresses are not on sale?
Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?
Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?
Why is it that no plastic bag will open from the end on your first try?
How do those dead bugs get into those enclosed light fixtures?
When we are in the supermarket and someone rams our ankle with a shopping cart then apologizes for doing so, why do we say, "It's all right?" Well, it isn't all right, so why don't we say, "That hurt, you stupid idiot?"
Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over?
In winter why do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?
How come you never hear father-in-law jokes?
And my FAVORITE......
The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.
Think Spring
Here is something to make you want sunshine too.

The journaling says " Guess what you get when you fill a bucket with water on a hot day? A happy toddler and hours of fun!"

Harriet Miers's Blog!!!
I don't know if it is really her that is writing this stuff but OMG it is good. Check it out.
A Little Bit about Blogs
I was really just sitting here, reading everyone else's blogs and I started to wonder who all out there reads this and enjoys it. I have never been very good about keeping a journal so this is really my first and I have to say that I am enjoying the experience a lot.
I also have to say to everyone else who invites me into their world, THANKS!! I really enjoy reading your blogs too.
So keep it up! :)
Down and Dirty

It is the best way to get some layouts done and in the books. This one is from 2004. While living in DC we always went to the Andrews AFB Air Show. I love them. They are so much fun to watch the planes do tricks and see the paratroopers and stuff like that.
But all I used on this layout was a piece of Bazzill, a scrap piece of Bazzill from another layout I just finished and my black and silver pens. The little airplanes are cut out using the airplane quickutz die that I had to buy but have never used. So in keeping with my resolution... I still am using up my supplies. :)

The Pink Layout
I like the layout though, I used up some of my pink paper from the Rob and Bob Stack from Michaels and I also used some of my rubber stamps. I bought a ton of rubber stamps at Michaels about a thousand years ago when they were on clearence or I had a 50% off coupon. I was just getting into scrapping when I bought them and thought they would be better than buying tons of stickers all the time. Well now I need to use them, Dhubby bought me another store in style drawer unit for Christmas and I put all my stamps and inks into it so that I would use them more since they aren't hidden in the closet.
Here is the layout. It is my oldest he decided to try to wear my mom's shoes one day. It was so funny watching try to walk around in them.

And I have been very good on my resolution so far one week into the year and I haven't been to a single craft or scrapbooking store. Although I am starting to run low on adhesive...

Speaking of Testosterone
My oldest -- isn't he handsome, even though he is sick he still took a pretty good picture.

My baby -- what a cutie pie.

Here is the first one of both of them. I really like this one!

And I had to get this one because I. just loves to walk his little brother around like this all the time.

We always get our pictures done at the Picture People. I know a lot of people like other places and more expensive places but they have always done a really good job with my pictures of the boys and I like how casual the pictures look. Plus you can't beat their program that gives you free sittings and free pictures.
