Not exactly the view you expect to see when the weather outside is cold. We have had a cold front come through central Texas and it has been in the 20s and 30s here. My blood has thinned since I have left Iowa and it is cold!!

Spent today with all my little scraps of fabric cutting out pieces for these Jane Market Totes that I bought the pattern for. I love using them for groceries. I found some cub scout/boy scout fabric and I am going to make Darren his own for taking stuff to cub scouts.

Why do these have to come off the little guys? I have a bowl of them sitting on my dresser. Poor military guys out there fighting for their little 3 1/2 inch lives in the boys room without their protective headgear.

Holiday visitors are all leaving now and it is time for me to get back to my diet. Is it just me or is it crazy that this is a serving of pasta. I am switching to spaghetti squash full time. I get more bang for my calorie allowance!!

First Layout of 2010

Not my best layout, it just didn't turn out how I had it pictured in my head. It seems really heavy on one side. But it is done and at least I won't lose this picture of forget the story of how we had to visit the Easter Bunny twice that year since Evan was scared the first time but after seeing his big brother Ian get a candy for chatting with the bunny he begged to go back. So we stood in the long line two times.

Our family picture from 2009. One of my new year's resolution was to get it out of the package and in a frame. Anyone want to put money on how long it will take me to get it hung on the wall? Let's hope it is before we move!!

2010 Happy New Year

Here is my happy little family, tired after walking around the Riverwalk and museum all day on New Year's Eve. We were with my parents and were waiting for it to get dark so we could see the lights on the Riverwalk. It was pretty and we had fun. Happy New Year everyone!!
