Gearing up for the end of school.

Tonight was Ian's 8th grade awards ceremony.  He ended up with an award for getting straight As and his robotics team was recognized for winning first place.

Evan's Field Trip

Now living in Schertz again has been great but with the schools being so big there aren't many field trips for them like they had when they went to smaller schools.  Evan is lucky to be in the GT program at his school and the 5th grade GT kids went on a trip to a local museum.  Evan said it was awesome and I think he had a great time!  He even took some pictures with his camera!

Darren gets BEADED!

Darren's been a Boy Scout for a very long time and he finally has gotten to check off another block in his scouting career.  He finished up Woodbadge last fall and got his ticket done last month.  Last night his course director came to our troop meeting and presented Darren with his new neckerchief and his beads.  And luckily he has two scouts of his own who got to present them to him.

First Place in Robotics

My big kid and his robotics club were invited to a competition today.  His team was called Integrity and they ended up coming home with gold medals and 2 trophies!  I've never seen Ian so proud.  His team won most points scored in a single round and then they ended up the middle school first place team!!
