Halloween Soccer

As the season has progressed Ian has really started to show some improvement in his soccer games. He still needs to work on his endurance but I have been so proud of how well he has been playing. Here are some highlights from his Halloween Soccer game.










Not sure what he is doing here, he is supposed to be getting ready to play defender and we are assuming he is stretching and warming up!! LOL!!

Storybook Parade

Ian's school does a storybook parade each year at Halloween time. It is really cute as the kids are supposed to come as characters from their favorite books! Ian is Indiana Jones!

Scrap Pink Cyber Crop

Over at ScrapAttack Scrapbooking they were having some scrapbooking challenges to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So here are a couple of my PINK layouts from this weekend.

Based on the menu challenge. I had to use 1 5x7 photo, pink background, buttons, ink and a heart.
Supplies: Studio Calico Via Airmail kit, added Basic Grey buttons and misc heart button, Studio Calico stamps, Fiskars border punch, MME PP.

For the Pink Ribbon Challenge. That is all the pink ribbon I own actually, LOL as you can see using pink is not something I do often but I do have a lot of it!!
Supplies: Studio Calico Center Stage kit, added Thickers and Karen Foster Design letter stickers, misc ribbon, Jillibean journaling spot, Fiskars border punch.

Last layout was for the PINK Challenge. I had to spell the word PINK with my supplies. I used...

Sunday Catch-up (Picture Heavy)

I am sorry I haven't posted pictures lately but let me catch up with what's been going on the guys. We started off Saturday morning EARLY with a nice chilly soccer match. They were pretty well matched up against the red team and it was fun to watch. Ian played really well!




Last weekend we missed soccer because Darren took Ian on a cub scout trip to the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi TX. From the looks of it they had a great time. They got to sleep in the bunks on the boat over night.





And lastly we went to see the play Miss Nelson is Missing (one of my favorite stories from when I was little). The actors were great and the boys really liked this guy because his character had lots of Star Wars references in his part!

Oh and Ian got his second grade pictures back!!

I've been scrapping.

Just a quick layout using up some of my Via Airmail kit from Studio Calico. I used these colors because they fit with the Scrap the Boys October Challenge.

Getting Ready for Halloween!

Evan and I took the weekend and bought some fun stuff for the front porch. I even let him talk me into getting some spider web stuff and lights!

Here is our lonely little ghost. I couldn't find any place on the porch for him so he is flying solo out in the tree!!

Preschool Pumpkin Patch Trip

Luckily for Evan the trip wasn't very long, just across the parking lot as the church Evan goes to preschool at has their own pumpkin patch. Evan got to bring Daddy with him to the pumpkin patch since mommy was busy working at the elementary school's book fair that same day.

I'm not sure but I think they threw in some health education cause here they are learning how to brush their teeth. I guess it does kind of go along with Halloween since they are going to be eating TONS of candy soon right?
