DMZ Tour

Trying to get our last couple things checked off the Korea Bucket List and one of them was to visit the DMZ.  It was seriously a cool trip and I am we got the chance to do it.

Earth Day

The Cub Scouts were out at the Earth Day booth teaching people about the Leave No Trace principles again.  Unfortunately it rained so hard again this year that we didn't stick around too long.  But we were there long enough for the boys to make pet rocks again and some neat Earth Day jewelry.

Thursday - King Tut

Took the boys to see the King Tut exhibit at the National Science Museum just south of Seoul.  Ian has been talking about this exhibit for months since his teacher told him about it.

They also at the Science Museum had a bug house and Ian had fun digging in the dirt with a little Korean woman finding grubs.  Huge grubs!

And they had dinosaurs outside to look at and it was really cool.

Wednesday - LotteWorld

Well the only thing bad that I can say is that we don't have very good timing.  Today was a Korean bank holiday essentially and guess what... since everyone was off from work THEY ALL WENT TO LOTTEWORLD!!  Evan wanted so badly to ride on the hot air balloon ride with his daddy and so we waited in line for 2 hours to ride it!

Tuesday - The Seoul Grand Park Zoo

We decided to try to get to the zoo before the rain hit.  I wish we would have braved the subway before because it is so easy.

Despite the fact that the zoo was all uphill, it was really pretty.  We got lucky, just as we started to get leave it started to rain pretty hard.
