Where's Scout today?

So this morning Scout popped up in this old finger pot that I made in high school. I actually found Evan talking to him this morning telling him we were going to have snow tomorrow.
And day 3 of the advent calendars.
Here they are looking for Day 3. :)
I told them to look at the camera for the picture and obviously Evan wishes it was an even day so he could open the Lego one instead of the chocolate one.
Second picture, and Evan still would rather be opening the Lego one.
OK finally I got both their attention.
Ian opened a Lego sled to go with the snowman and guy throwing snowballs from the last two days.
And even though it isn't a Lego, he won't complain while he is eating it at breakfast time!!

Advent Calendar Adventures & Meet Scout

First off, meet Scout. He is our house elf sent from Santa to tell him whether the boys are being naughty or nice. He showed up December 1st in our tree and popped back again this morning here on top of the closet. The boys love trying to find him!

Day 1 of the advent calendar. The boys love the Lego Advent calendar and getting a new little Lego toy each day. They have to share and take turns opening the little boxes.
Day 1 = they got a little guy who throws snowballs.
Day 2 of the advent calendar, Evan's turn to open it and Ian gets to open the one that Aunt Sally gave them. (there were actually two of these with chocolates in them but someone left them on the floor and Beaker ate one)

Day 2 = we got a Lego snowman!!

Rest of the layouts I finished in November.

I didn't make my 8 layouts for the month for the ScrapAttack challenge so I really need to kick it in gear in December to get all caught up! I don't know if I will be able to do it!!

This last layout I did using the sketch on the Page Maps blog for their November contest! Wish me luck!!
All these layouts were done using Studio Calico's September 2008 Iconic kit with the addition of one sheet of Scenic Route PP.

Another Lost Tooth

Don't look up his nose, sorry about that angle. LOL! But tonight at dinner Ian lost his 5th tooth while eating a chili dog!

As you can see he is very proud of the hole in his head!!

4 Year Anniversary of My Blog

Can you believe I have been blogging for 4 years now!!

Here is a link to my very first post. I need to fix some of the links to things that I had stored in photobucket and have deleted. Maybe that will be what I work on so that everything is nice and neat again.

Here is to many more years of happy memories captured on the blog!!

Playing at Grandma & Grandpa's

We found this little Nerf gun for Evan that he can actually pull the trigger. He had a lot of fun "hunting" his brother down in the grandparents' backyard.

Kitchen is getting done.

Not a great picture but the kitchen is getting closer to being done. Darren got 99% of the tile up and it will get grouted after Thanksgiving. I really can't believe how great it has turned out. It totally changes the look of the kitchen. I can barely remember what it looked like before we started. (Good thing I take lots of pictures, right?)
