6th Grade Field Trip to Huntley Meadows

It was a VERY rainy day but we still got to go on the 6th grade science field trip to Huntley Meadows.  We saw two huge turtles, beaver and raccoon tracks, geese on nests and other geese protecting the nests.  A snake and a slug and beaver dams.  I had a great group of kids who weren't upset that it was raining and they were soaked to the bone after our hike.  I didn't hear any complaining from them the whole time.  :)

Back to Scrapping

It has been awhile but I'm trying to get back to using up my supplies.

Goodbye Old Friend

After almost 10 years and 88000 miles, I decided to trade in my beloved Denali and get something new.   Here are the boys before school, after dropping them off I get to pick up my new car -- a 2014 Honda Odyssey!!

Spring Break in Dubuque

After Missouri we drove up to my family in Dubuque.  My sister came over with her kids and we went to their house to play on the trampoline.  We visited the Julian Dubuque grave and looked at the river.

Easter Weekend in Missouri

We went to Darren's parent's house and his brother and wife came up to visit.  We watched the new Captain America, had an Easter Egg Hunt and played games like croquet.

Seder Meal

I've never seen a Seder Meal before and I thought it was really neat that Ian's class did one so they could learn about it for religion class.

And while they loved the lamb meatballs, the pizza and fruit kabobs were a big hit too!
