Pics from Boy Scout Camp
Ian went to his first Boy Scout Camp at Camp Sinoquipe in Pennsylvania over the week of the 4th of July. It rained almost the entire time and he complained that nothing was ever dry. I ended up sending dry shorts, underwear, towels and stuff with his Dad when he came down to do some things at the office on Wednesday back up to them. After the initial shock of what camp was like and getting over the fear of spiders in his tent, he had a great time. But he did call me on Monday night to ask me to drive up and get him because Dad wouldn't bring him home. He ended up being one of the honor scouts and getting voted Most Scout Spirit by his troop and he earned Swimming, Canoeing, Chess and Public Speaking merit badges. Not too shabby for his first time at camp!

I'm glad he had a good time after all!
He's actually wearing Darren's pants because the jeans he brought were skin tight. He had to wear his pants and shirt to do the drown-proofing to show that if he fell overboard he could save himself.
