Randolph Air Show

For the past week I've been watching the Thunderbirds practice as they flew over my house.  We finally got some time and went to the air force base to watch the air show and it was AWESOME!!

Got to play with my big zoom lens too and had some fun!!

First off, Evan didn't think I could take a picture of him with that huge lens.  So I had to prove him wrong.

And then the Thunderbirds.

And just a side note, I kept calling them the Thundercats by mistake which my three guys thought was extremely funny.  So I found a picture of the Thundercats too.  And you know had the Thundercats been at the air force base this weekend, I probably would have taken the boys to see them too!!

Advancement Camp Spring 2015

This one had his first campout as a Boy Scout this weekend.

He did great and got a lot of requirements checked off.  He earned the rank of Scout and also the Firem'n Chit and Toten Chip.  He's ready for Summer Camp now!

WW2 Plane Fly Over

I went with my friend Michelle downtown to watch the old WW2 planes fly over the National Mall for the 70th Anniversary of VE Day.  I got to play with my new 100-400mm lens that Darren got me for my anniversary.

Easter Sunday

It was a busy Easter this year because we were also celebrating my niece's birthday but luckily I did snap one picture with the boys in front of their Easter baskets.

ICE ICE BABY! (aka I swear my kids are never going back to school)

We had a big ice storm yesterday and this morning they cancelled school again.  Now the sun is outside and the world is crackling and snap as the ice melts off the trees.  I love that sound.  Sounds like spring.
