Big Faker?

This first layout is based on a sketch by Carrie at the ScrapShanty and it also features this really cute journaling tag by Shabby Chic Crafts that I won from ScrapAttack. It also uses more than 3 different manufacturers PP for a challenge at ScrapAttack for their Scrapbook Play challenge. And speaking of Scrapbook Play, I saw this challenge first at ScrapAttack in their Scrapbook Play challenge center. I had made that layout about the tattoos using these papers and stickers and for the challenge I used my scraps to make a card and a tag.

Robbed by a Rabbit

All Evan could talk about today was visiting the Easter Bunny. We got there and he freaked out. this was as close as I could get him to the rabbit (and he is standing about 2 feet in front of him). Plus why oh why are those darned pictures so expensive? It isn't like it is the best photo in the world. The yearly pictures I have done of the boys from the Picture People aren't as expensive as this photo was. :( Oh well, it isn't great but it is my boys this year with the Easter Bunny. They got these ears (LOL part of the price of the picture you know) and I tried to get a good picture of them together and man it was like pulling teeth. How hard is it to look at the camera? I mean I am looking at them I can tell when they aren't looking back!!

Kite Day (aka WOW his kite actually worked)

Ian made a kite a couple of weeks ago in Cub Scouts and today they had kite day to try to fly them. I had bought a cheapie for $1 at Walmart. But low and behold, Ian's little construction paper kite flew!! He had to run to get it up in the air but it was up there!! I was quite impressed!!

After awhile though the string finally ripped through the paper and we all took turns with the Transformers kite from Walmart. Here are some pictures of the day!

And yes they are still wearing their hockey jerseys!!!

Polar Bear Badges

The local AHL hockey team hosted a Scout Night on Saturday night, not only did the boys get to go to the hockey game but they got cool jerseys (which even the team wore) but after the game Ian and Darren stayed overnight and slept on the ice to earn Ian's polar bear badge!! He was so excited for his first scout sleep over and to get his first badge!!

Scrapping scrapping scrapping

Now that I am back I am trying to get back into the swing of things and scrap again. I think I left my mojo back in NYC though because nothing was looking like I was picturing it in my head. But they are done and in the books.

This first one was an ad challenge at ScrapAttack Scrapbooking. I got my Ad Challenge Charm for finishing this one!! WOOT WOOT!! And I also got one of the Top Poster Charms too for last month (still don't know how I did that since I was gone for almost 2 weeks from the internet).
And this last one is based on a sketch challenge that I hosted at the ScrapShanty. It is based on a sketch that I made myself.

ScrapSupply is having another Saturday Scrappy Day this Saturday so I am hoping to get some scrapping done between soccer and hockey games this weekend.
