Pre-K Graduation

Evan graduated from Pre-K this afternoon. We made one last stop to the Butterfly class and one last picture by the door of Room 1.
Reading the "yearbook" that Ms. Sam made each of the kids in the class. She did a great job on them. They have pictures from the kids from each month during the school year.
Evan and his teacher Ms. Roni.

Marching up to the stage to the graduation song.
Waving hi to mommy, Grandpa and Grandma and Daddy!
Singing "This Little Light of Mine". He talked all week about getting to bring home his candle.

Receiving his certificate.
With his buddy Colin.
After graduation, with Grandpa and Grandma.
And with Mom and Dad.

Girl-Friends

Evan's little girl friend (notice the space!!) graduated from preschool tonight! She invited us to come so the boys and I tagged along. They sang some songs and got to stand on the riser to smile at the crowd. After the ceremony the boys got their pictures taken with the girls!

Remember When

these pictures are from October 2007
Found these pictures of the kids when I was packing up scrapbooking supplies. These were taken right after we moved and Ian started school. His best buds Brianne, Maddie and Kimberlee along with them. I can't believe that Kimberlee and Evan are now the size that the big kids were when we moved here!! A lot has changed in 3 wonderful years!!

L-O-V-E

Evan learned how to spell LOVE the other day and he has been drawing and making pictures lately of himself and his friends. This one he made at school today with his friend Abby. He said he is going to miss all his girlfriends and boyfriends because he loves them. I just think it is so sweet and this picture is adorable!

Need to Remember to Blog

Well things are moving right along with our move. ((HA our move is moving right along...)) I have been a little behind on blogging but here is a little of what we have been up to...

Ian had his end of the year party with his soccer team. They had a blast. One of the moms got them a soccer pinata and they actually kicked it instead of hitting it with a stick.
They all got their trophies and medals for participating. Here is Ian with his coach.

We also had our last cub scout meeting! The moms got Darren a cake to say thanks for being the leader. It was really good cake!
They also got him a plaque to say thanks for being a great leader. That's Darren's assistant leader with him. Such a great guy!!
Here are the boys enjoying their pizza and time together! We'll miss these kids because they are really a fun group and a good group of boys!

Here are the boys spring photos from school. I couldn't help but get some of them.

I can't wait to get Evan's graduation photos and show them to you because he looked so darned cute in them!!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! This morning before mass my friend Elise snapped this picture for me of all of us.
Today was May Crowning at mass. All the first holy communion kids came back this week to crown Mary. Ian was honored by being able to carry the crown up to the alter.
Here are the kids saying the Hail Mary with Monsignor Robbins. They look so serious!!

Cub Scout Discovery Camp

Ian and Darren went to Cub Discovery Camp at Bear Creek for their African Safari. Ian was pretty excited as usual. He loved checking out the lake and I can't believe Darren let him walk out on the dam. It is so thin!! He also enjoyed shooting BB guns and he said he did really good this year in archery.

National Scrapbooking Day

I didn't scrap at all but I cleaned out a lot of my stuff prepping for the move and I used a bunch of scraps that I couldn't bear to throw out into some cards for Teacher Appreciation Week.

Here's how I bundled them up and the kids helped me stamp the paper.

Tilt your head to the side now because for the life of me I can't get this image to go the other way. Seriously just the internet being funky on me I think!!
