First Communion Photos

We started out Friday night with First Communion Pictures. Ian and Brianne dutifully stood outside the church shoulder to shoulder to get their picture taken together. They both looked so cute!!

On Saturday morning I let him open up his gifts from his Grandma and Grandpa Kotz. They got him a pin (which he actually got to open on Friday night so he could wear it for his pictures, it is on his tie) and a rosary.
He really liked the rosary and it was so cute when he realized the beads spelled his name!!
It turned out really nice!
After everyone had eaten we jumped in the truck before anyone got dirty and headed to church. Here we are before the mass with my sister Sally!!

After the mass the kids all got up in the front of church with Fr. Greg and sang some songs. I really like our priest here, he really makes the mass fun for the kids.

Getting a blessing before we leave (and being invited to come to the reception for cake and broccoli -- it's a joke because the kids all told him they don't like broccoli).
